Before you set your site’s home page, you will need to create a page. A common format used for a home page is the General content type. Follow the instructions for creating a new page.

The actual page is set under settings->reading.
Click the three-dot button on one of your standard content pages in your Shogun dashboard. Select the “Set as Homepage” option.
Making a standard page in Shogun as the homepage is as easy as the click of a button. Please ensure your homepage is published before following these steps.
In Global Navigation, click the Courses link [1], then click the name of the course [2].
Click the radio button next to the Home Page layout you prefer.
Homepage settings are powered by Looker’s user attributes system.
Looker offers two default homepage options:
Internet Explorer
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Go to the website you want to use as your home page.
3. Click “Tools” in the main menu bar. Scroll down and select “Internet Options.”
4. Click the “General” tab. Choose the “Use Current” button.
5. Hit the “Apply” button and then the “OK” button.
6. Close the window and restart your browser.
Safari
1. Open Safari.
2. Go to the website you want to use as your home page.
3. Click “Edit” in the main menu bar. Scroll down and click “Preferences.”
4. Click the “Set to Current Page” button. Close the window.
If you get a confirmation window, click “Change Home Page.”
5. Close the window and restart your browser.
